This ground vibration monitor has up to 7 channels, meaning you can measure in different locations simultaneously. It can also be supplied with an air over pressure microphone for monitoring blasting activities in quarries. A blast monitoring seismograph for use in the UK must be able to measure Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) in mm/s from 4Hz up to 100Hz. The frequency response should be as linear as possible in each of the three axes. The air over-pressure microphone must also be able to accurately measure unweighted levels from 100dB_{Linear peak} to 148dB_{Linear peak} with frequencies from 2Hz to 250Hz.

As you can record in Bargraph mode, Wavefrom mode or a combination of both the GVM-3 vibration meter is perfect for use in quarries, construction projects, piling, civil engineering, hydro electricity, server rooms and the MOD.
